  Not exactly a boycott; but crumbl cookie. Cant eat it. Makes me violently sick. Normal cookies are fine but they do something weird to those cookies that make me extremely sick.

  No, Of course boycotting is an effective method of protest, but boycotting places like a Starbucks, Mcdonalds, Or Buccee's means you're affecting more than just the company. The specific stores owner needs to pay rent as well as buy supplies, but more importantly leaving improper funds to pay workers and might close an individuals location down, putting people out of jobs meaning they can't make a wage to support themselves.
