  Evil is hard to define for me on a general scale, but on an individual scale: If, in interpersonal interaction, you selectively act against your own principals and consciously refuse to acknowledge the hypocrisy. I.e "only viewing things as problems if they affect you" or "only applying your rules to others". Also, the "consciously" is important here, because doing it subconsciously means you are stupid, not evil.

  I think evil doesn't exist, it's only relative to your set of beliefs Given that I have my own morals I can define what I consider to be evil or not, but I wouldn't be able to define it from an objective standpoint.   Evil is only considered evil if it actually does something bad to others or the world around it. Alot of people give the title "evil" to people or things that dont deserve it without actually observing beforehand.
