  Political theme are pretty alright and interesting when handled correctly But it really hurts when the game is politics first, game second Should be the other way round or balanced at the very least (and that’s not to get into semantics about honest takes and arguments as it pertains to the issue involved) All in all, it’s only really comes out good when a genuine foot is put forward to start a conversation as opposed to steps taken to bring people onto your side (push your agenda)

  It's inevitable, games combine too many art forms. You will often hear "all media is political" because it holds significant truth. Unless you are intent on making another Pong, that is, but even then, on a meta level, Pongs inception was strongly political too. There really is no escaping it unless through sheer ignorance.

  I believe that games are art in some way, and because of that politics are a part of them

  I'm fine with them if they're not shoved in my face or presented as "the only right way of thinking". Also, it's nice when a game is obviously political, because then I know what I would be getting into

  As the world as a whole is in a period of transition, when creators are trying to make a story that will make players think deeply using themes that are familiar and easy to empathize with, the theme chosen may fall into the "political" category. I would rather say that the categories ``this one is political'' ``this one is not political'' are ridiculous
