  I liked the world as a kid, but as an adult I have grown to dislike it due to the very disagreeable author and the unfavourable explanations for some of the questionable writing decisions that came from my learning more about said author.

  I have a really complicated relationship with it. It helped me bond with my stepfather and stepsister when I was young and hurt from my father leaving, but I also as an adult recognize that the writing and lore building leaves a lot to be desired. I also don't really like the author, so that adds on another piece of it. I think it will always have a special place in my heart for what it was, but if I were to experience it as an adult I'd find it mid.
